Dr. Norton utilizes many different techniques to help you achieve your greatest potential. Some of the offerings include:

Activator Methods®

The Activator is a treatment method developed as an alternative to manual (hand) adjusting of the spine or extremity joints. The device is generally regarded as a softer chiropractic treatment technique.

Arms & Legs

Sometimes it isn’t about your back and/or neck. Sometimes your ankles hurt. Maybe you’ve hurt your knee running or playing with your kids. Sometimes you’ve been using your computer and mouse too much and your wrists, elbows, and shoulders are sore. Any injury to these areas (whether repetitive or due to trauma) is just as important to help as your spinal problems.

Auto Injuries

Most people have one thing on their mind after a car accident their car! However, it’s important to remember that you and your injuries come first. A visit to a chiropractor should always follow an auto injury, as chiropractors are specialists in damage to soft and hard tissue.

Corporate Wellness

It isn’t just a person that needs to be taken care of. The person is an employee, an entrepreneur, a manager, a CFO, etc. They need to be healthy at work to get their job done – no matter how large or small. What happens if they can’t?

Diversified Technique

When working with each individual, each persons needs are different. This technique allows Dr. Norton to find where your joints are “sticky” or restricted then incorporate multiple techniques of gentle manual (hand) thrusts to free those areas up.

Golf Fitness

Dr. Norton is a Golf Fitness Specialist; she will work with you to develop a personalized plan to increase your strength, stability, and mobility helping you with your golf game.

Ice Pack Cryotherapy

Ice pack cryotherapy consists of applying cold compresses to the skin, both to reduce its temperature and constrict blood vessels in the area. Applied to fresh injuries, it can help reduce pain, swelling, and inflammation.

Intersegmental Traction

We gently add motion to each vertebral joint to increase circulation, reduce scar tissue and enhance the effectiveness of your adjustments.

Electrical Muscle Stimulation

Electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) is a treatment method being used to reduce pain, swelling, and recovery time. This increasingly popular treatment works well for soft tissue injuries, muscle spasms, and even for athletes who want quicker recovery from workouts.

Kinesio Taping

LTK Fitness

LTK Fitness is your total health and fitness solution! We have everything from free fitness to higher-end personal training (one-on-one and boot camps).

Personal Injury

Chiropractors are professionals who uncover underlying issues in personal injury accidents. Whether using a single spinal adjustment or a series of treatment, visiting a chiropractor is one of the best options to start the healing process.

Soft Tissue Work

Finding areas where your muscles may have trigger points/scar tissue build-up then working those out can help with the healing process as well as increasing circulation and helping get rid of that scar tissue.

Spinal Adjustments and Manipulation

A chiropractic adjustment, also known as chiropractic manipulation, manual manipulation, or spinal manipulation, is the primary chiropractic treatment method for back pain.

Sports Injury

By this time in your life, I’m sure you’ve heard the adage “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” by Benjamin Franklin. It holds true with your health. Dr. Norton will work with you to build up your strength, function, and mobility so your body can work at its best to avoid injury and keep you in your game.

Therapeutic Exercise

There are three primary benefits to ultrasound. The first is the speeding up of the healing process from the increase in blood flow in the treated area. The second is the decrease in pain from the reduction of swelling and edema. The third is the gentle massage of the muscles, tendons and/or ligaments in the treated area because no strain is added and any scar tissue is softened.

Treatment of Common Chiropractic Conditions

Treatment of Degenerative Disc Disease

Degenerative disc disease is not as much a disease as it is a name for the changes that can happen to the spine as we age.
